NEW ROLE WITHIN NEW TEAM AND THEREFORE AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this position is to provide financial insights on our product portfolio to support the strategy execution. This by making use of the combining data from different ERP systems and other tools. This position should be able to transfer raw data into useful and understandable management information.

CONDITIONS

  • Fixed salary approximately € 60-70k per annum (incl. holiday allowance and 13thmonth)

POSITION

  • Working closely together with the business controllers of the different Business Development Unit’s (BDU’s) and support them to provide the right insights fordecision taking
  • Contribute to the global data model project, to enable the company to monitor progress on strategy execution, and to serve relevant stakeholders for their information need
  • Provide standard and ad-hoc reports, analyses and insights on product portfolio, sales/cost price, purchase price and gross margin by product (portfolio) and segment
  • Monitor realization business case on elements such as volume, sales price, cost price and gross margin
  • Perform in- and outsourcing analysis of products and components (make vs buy) and purchase price development by component and spend category
  • Monitor and provide insights on the realization of the migration plan (phase in and phase out), portfolio simplification and on the realization of the direct cost savings
  • Perform cost comparison analysis together with cost engineers
  • Determine and maintain the data model to perform the financial product analysis (Product Hierarchy, Direct Spend Hierarchy, Costing model, Sales Rebate structure etc.)
  • Provide timely and accurate management information to other stakeholders  (Management Board, BDU Product Management, Group Function (Operations etc) and other BDU Business controllers etc)

PROFILE 

  • Master degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or Accounting
  • Approximately three to five years of experience within an strong analytical or data driven position
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP BPH/SAP S/4HANA) and related technologies like PowerBI
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with supply chain and operational processes is desired
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong conceptual thinking skills
  • Flexible, able to meet ambitious deadlines and (within the future) willing to travel internationally
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and cultural awareness
